OC Fair is In Full Swing Starting Today

Happy Summer!

Hope everyone's 4th of July was fun. We got our River on and it was a blast. Steve's family has an awesome place on the Parker Strip.

Camp Carnival Information- This is Rad!!!!

I thought you might like to havethis information so you know approximately how Camp Carnival will work for you.

Toddlers (ages 2-5)General Information / Policies / Activities Sign In/Out Policy

Toddlers must be registered with Camp Carnival in order to participatein the activities. All children in this age group have a strict sign-in/sign-out policy. Children must be signed in and out by the same Parent/Legal Guardianover the age of 18. Authorization for another adult can be granted to pick up the childonly, provided this is done each time you sign in your child. The adult is required to present their Sail & Sign card each time theydrop off and pick up their child. For the safety of the child, there are no exceptions to this rule.

Beepers / Telephone: Beepers and telephones are available to Parents, complimentary, forchildren 5 and under. Parents will be beeped if the child ismisbehaving, ill, seriously unhappy, asking continuously for theirparents and in case of an emergency. The beeper or telephone is usedthroughout the voyage, for ship-use only; the range does not extendbeyond the ship. There will be a charge to the guest's Sail & Sign cardif the beeper/telephone is lost, damaged or broken.

Potty-Trained: Toddlers do not have to be potty-trained in order to take part in CampCarnival or take part of the babysitting services. Parents must provide the Youth Staff with diapers and toiletries to be used for their child.H owever, children over the age of 3 will not be changed by the YouthStaff. The parents will be provided with a beeper and must return when paged to sign the child out of activities and change them. The child may then return to activities.

Swimming Pools: Children in diapers, swimming diapers or those who are not toilet trained are not permitted to use the pools due to United States PublicHealth Regulations.

Medication: The Camp Carnival Staff may not administer any medication and/or needlesto any child participating in the Youth Activity Program. Additionally,no medications with the exception of epi-pens, diabetic testingequipment and inhalers are permitted in the playroom. If the child doesrequire regular medication while attending Camp Carnival, the parentsmust return to administer the medication.Safety InformationAll children 11 and under must wear a muster station wristbandthroughout the cruise. Wristbands are available from the Youth Staff orthe Purser's Information Desk. In the event of an emergency, anychildren participating in Camp Carnival activities will be taken to the kids assembly area. There, they will be divided into the appropriate groups according to their muster station and taken to their station by the Youth Staff. During an emergency situation, parents should collecttheir child's lifejacket from the cabin when they pick up their own.

Meals: Camp Carnival provides supervised "Children's Only" dinners every evening (6:00pm-7:00pm) of the cruise except on the first evening. These dinners take place in the Lido Restaurant. Some of the menu choices are:Macaroni and Cheese; Pizza; Fish Sticks; Tacos; Chicken Tenders;Hamburgers; Hot Dogs; Vegetables; Fruit; Ice Cream.Parents are encouraged to pick up their children for all other meals onSea Days as lunch is not provided. On port days, Camp Carnival childrensigned in at camp will be provided lunch if their parents are ashore.In the Dining Room, the children's menu features a wide variety of kids'favorites, including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza,macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, French fries and bananasplits, along with a "daily junior special" offering something new anddifferent each day. The menus are included on the back page of a funcoloring/ activity book featuring word finds, mazes, tic-tac-toe,crossword puzzles, connect the dots and other games. Crayons are alsoprovided.

Activities Hours on Sea Days : Scheduled activities run from 9:00am to 12:00pm; 2:00pm to 5:00pm;7:00pm to 10:00pm. This service is complimentary.

Hours on Port Days: Supervised free play begins from port arrival until approximately 2:00pm; scheduled activities resume at 2:00pm until 10:00pm. This service is complimentary.

Nightly Babysitting is provided nightly, from 10:00pm to 3:00am. Note: There is a $6.00 per hour charge for this service (see"Babysitting").

Activities for toddlers include: Sing-a-longs - Music and Movement Activities Play dough sculptures H2Ocean Activity - Make your own Playdoh Picture bingo - Bingo for prizes/candy Story time - A-B-Seas Reading and Story Time Kid's talent show Face painting - during themed activities PS2's, Gameboys Soft Play and Slide Equipment ExerSeas Indoor Ball Games, Parachute Games and Kids Aerobics Night of Fun Parties - Featuring Candy Art, Dancing, Games and FacePainting Funship Freddy Themed Activities Movie Nights and more... Toddler Theme Nights and Theme Character ActivitiesThe toddler program offers a wide variety of themed activitiesinvolving: face painting arts and crafts story times and games Some of our theme nights are: Jurassic Park Super Hero's Alien Invasion Bunny Night Under the Sea Adventure Some of our Character Activities may include: Bob the Builder Dr Seuss Dora the Explorer Scooby Doo Blues Clues Toddler Games and Activities We also offer a wide variety of games and activities throughout the cruise. Hello Friends and Family!

We created this blog so we can keep in touch with all of you who matter so much! We hope you post messages as often as possible and find news about our family and updated photos and videos of Aden. he is growing so fast!!!

We are planning a vacation and are hoping that many of you can join us. It's an easy breezy sunny 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera on the Carnival Pride leaving Long Beach, CA on Sunday, November 30 returning Sunday, December 7th. Balcony cabins are going for $599 for a limited time so contact Carol Stark (866- ) as soon as possible. The best part- Camp Carnival for the kids- so we can take a break and kids only cost $259 for a whole week with all food and activities included! It's a gerat value and a fun even to look forward to. Recent News:
My parents, Tim and Linda Kimble just moved to Dallas today. They pulled out this morning and it was very sad. Aden will miss his Mahhmahh and Bumpa very much.

American Express bought my GE division for $1B so I will become an Amex employee shortly. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be another good large company to work for. We will see!

Andy is an Electrician-in-training. He is learning a new trade which is great and he really enjoys working for his close friend, Jim. NO CAR BUSINESS for Andy we hope.

My goal is to become a stay at home Mom during the day working a few nights per week so I never miss a single game, practice, recital or anything!

We are going to the River (Parker, AZ) for the 4th of July and to celebrate Jack Mac's 60th birthday. we are staying with Natalie and her husband and 9 month old in their river joint. Hope to see some of you there!
